In conjunction with National Nursing Home Week, staff of Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center set up a spectacular Tuesday with staff wearing their best tie dye shirts for “Tie Dye Tuesday”. Later in the day, staff had their own fun while participating in a facility wide scavenger hunt. After the hustle of the hunt, they played a doughnut game where the delicious treats were hanging from the ceiling and had to be eaten without using hands. Quite the site.
For the residents, their morning began with a wonderful and relaxing spa. Once they were all pampered and felt relaxed, they played a fun round of Big Buck Bingo. After the riveting game of Bingo, residents enjoyed a nice banana split from the banana split bar.
