Thank you Amy Melton Couch for the ‘Heroes Work Here’ sign that is hanging up at Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center. It was a nice surprise for all staff to see and it means so much to them. The employees have worked so hard and have been dedicated to following guidelines to protect the residents.
Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center is extremely thankful to everyone that took the time out of their day to be part of the car parade for the residents. To celebrate day 3 of Skilled Nursing Care week, Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center threw a Fiesta for staff and residents. The day started with RC Racing and later on everyone enjoyed a delicious Taco bar. Thank you to Eagles Landing for the wonderful spread of scrumptious food and Carrie Adams for the amazing cupcakes.
On day 2 of Nursing Home Week, the ladies decorated the area for a beach theme with grass skirts, lays, and yummy drinks. Residents got to enjoy shaved ice, cupcakes, and bingo.
Karen Honeycutt, Activities Director, and Heather Smith, Director of Social Services, hit a home-run with their concession cart for the days Baseball Theme. Lots of hot dogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, and baseball cupcakes. Staff appreciates you all making day one of Skilled Nursing Care Week extra special.
National Skilled Nursing Care Week begins Monday, May 11th and lasts until May 15th. A big thank you to Connie Baker for bringing delicious cookies to all of the nurses to kick off this amazing week. Also, thank you to all the nurses who dedicate their lives to helping others.
